We wanted to create a real feel-good drum and bass track with an oldschool vibe meeting 2022 sound design; something fit for the summer. We built the track around a temp stock vocal that we bought, and after having worked on the track for many months, the vocal stuck with us, so we hired a session vocalist to re-record it, along with variations and doubles that we could use throughout the track. So if you've heard the vocal somewhere before; yes, but no you haven't :)
